CURRENT PROJECT
We're currently working with a fantastic organisation in Uganda called Hope Line to help build a school for 1000 students.
Our first trip was booked for mid-January to mid-February, 2019.
We have had so much interest we're also going to be running a trip in November-December this year!
UPDATE: We are here! The trip is currently underway and we are making fantastic progress. Check out our Facebook page for updates.
Children
Hope Line have successfully built two schools which provide free education. These schools act as a sanctuary to over 180 students, providing free meals every day.
Women
Hope Line help abandoned women set up businesses selling food and handmade crafts so that they can become economically self-sufficient. The women are empowered with practical skills, emotional support and free education.
Healthcare
Hope Line educates their community about healthcare practices like family planning and child spacing, malaria prevention, dental services, and HIV/AIDS prevention and awareness.

Funding
So how much money does it take to make a difference?
From March through to December, 30 students raise a total of $5000 each.
| $2500 that goes directly towards building the school in Kkboa. | |
|---|---|
| $2500 for flights, insurance and administration. |
For more detailed information on our 2018 project, have a look through our information document.
For our current project, this is a total of $75,000 that goes directly towards construction costs for the school in Kkboa.
We recommend for community members to advertise jobs through our partner company, Student Job Search. Using this system makes it easy for community members to advertise jobs and easily find motivated students to help with anything they might need a hand with.
